On one hand, social media provides opportunities for creativity and self-expression. Many young individuals have built successful careers as content creators, influencers, and entrepreneurs. It has also made information more accessible than ever before.
On the other hand, excessive use can lead to serious concerns. Issues like mental health problems, comparison culture, and misinformation are becoming increasingly common. The pressure to maintain an online image often affects self-esteem and real-life relationships.
The solution lies in balance. Awareness about responsible usage, digital literacy, and mental health support is essential. Social media is a powerful tool—but like any tool, its impact depends on how it is used.
